Welcome to the 🍂 Fall 2025 semester! Get ready to embark on a fun-filled musical journey 🎵✨ where we'll develop your piano skills through engaging weekly piano classes 🎹 and optional at-home activities 🏠📚.

📅 Semester Schedule
To view the schedule for your class, please refer to the VIRTUOSO course calendar 📆. Please always attend your assigned class time, unless you have previously arranged to attend an alternate class time with your instructor.

📍 Class Location & Parking 🚗
All VIRTUOSO classes are hosted at 2101 S. Prospect Ave. Champaign, IL 61820 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church ⛪.

Please always park 🚙 behind the building and meet your instructor at the door 🚪 to enter. All building doors are locked 🔒 and will automatically lock when they close.

🙋 Need to miss a class?
If you need to miss a class, there are no make-up classes added to the schedule. However, you are welcome to attend any other class section up to 2 times per semester to ensure you can attend all 8 weeks. Please inform the instructor as soon as possible ☎️ if you need to attend at an alternate class time.

🎒 What to bring to class

  • A piano bag 👜 to hold your piano materials & your VIRTUOSO piano binder 📒 (provided free during the first lesson for new students; $5 replacement fee applies for lost binders).

  • All markers 🖊️ and pencils ✏️ are provided in class, but you will want extras in your piano bag for home usage 🏠.

📜 Studio Rules

  • Arrival time ⏰: Arrive 5 minutes early to greet your instructor and walk to the waiting room.

  • Late arrivals 🚪: Notify the instructor if arriving late; Over 20 minutes late? — Please attend another class time.

  • Waiting area 🪑: Parents/guardians must remain in the waiting room; limit 2 people per student during class. Please keep in mind that, even though our piano studio is not affiliated with the church, we always need to be respectful 🤝 and maintain a quiet volume 🤫 within the building as many other people use the space.

At-home activities are always optional 🏡🎯. If you choose to do them, let your child pick and keep practice sessions between 5–20 minutes ⏳.
