Leon does great job working with my son. The classes are fun because they’re in a group setting and it’s not a stuffy or formal setting like I remember from when I took piano lessons as a kid. He uses fun worksheets and creative activities for the kids. I also love the kid-friendly music vocabulary he uses. I can't believe how much my son's piano skills improved in such a short time...and he actually loves practicing at home! We will definitely continue with VIRTUOSO for as long as we can.

I also loved that the classes and at-home activities captured her attention, so showing up and practicing weren't a battle. I recommend VIRTUOSO classes to everyone I know with kids of a similiar age.

I just wanted to tell you how much our son Clark is loving his “Tiny VIRTUOSO” piano class. He gets so excited on piano day and comes home raving about it, ready to jump on our piano and play. He can almost always identify the keys A-G anywhere on the piano and he loves to press the keys from the bottom to the top and say the letters aloud. It is so fun for us to watch and we are thrilled he is so excited about it! Thank you so much for what you do!

I have been taking VIRTUOSO PRO lessons with Leon for about a year now and have found his teaching clear, organized, friendly, and instructive. Because of the weekly meetings, and his systemized, orderly syllabus I feel I have made tentative steps towards reaching my goal of being able to play the tunes I love. The live, online classes are great fun, always thought-provoking and relevant; and Leon's enduring enthusiasm and encouragement are definitely responsible for keeping me focussed, despite the enormous hurdles of learning something outside my comfort zone. Leon is an extremely knowledgeable instructor with a flexible teaching style, geared to reach students encompassing a myriad of needs. He is always upbeat with the utmost patience, regardless of how often we revisit the same questions!
This online course has been my one constant throughout the pandemic and has proven to be both challenging and stimulating for my “aging brain”!
I’m very glad I took the leap a year ago and look forward to continuing on with VIRTUOSO PRO in 2022!

I have had many piano teachers for 'non-classical' classes, but none came close to Leon's method. While teaching us some theory, Leon encourages us to be creative within the pieces we are learning. He is very flexible, patient, and encouraging and is available between lessons through the discussion board if we need assistance.
