🎹 Hello Piano Parents! 🎶

It’s almost time for our end-of-semester Mini-Concerts! 🌟 This is your chance to showcase your piano skills 🎼 you've learned this semester with a small and supportive audience 👏.

🗓️ MINI-CONCERT DETAILS

Our mini-concerts are hosted at:

  • Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

  • 📍 2101 S. Prospect Ave. Champaign, IL 61820

  • 👉 Please arrive at your assigned class day & time, unless you’ve arranged to attend an alternate one.

🎯 HOW SHOULD STUDENTS PREPARE?

Between now and your mini-concert date, simply focus on practicing 🎵 the songs we’ve learned together this semester.

  • ✅ This is a casual performance, so no need to over-prepare.

  • 🎈 It’s a pressure-free chance to play in front of a small audience!

🎭 WHAT WILL WE DO?

  • 🎉 We’ll begin in our lobby area to greet everyone

  • 🎹 Students will warm up by playing their pieces while guests wait in the lobby

  • 👯‍♂️ Friends may join the warm-up portion with students

  • 🌟 Students will then perform as a group

  • 🎵 After the group performance, each student can play one piece solo or with the instructor

  • 📸 Feel free to take photos and videos throughout the mini-concert!

  • 😌 This is a casual, relaxed performance—not a formal recital

  • 👕 Wear whatever you’d like—no special attire needed!

  • 📷 We’ll wrap up with a few group photos after the concert
