I’m a piano coach that helps adult students learn to play the songs they love.
Since 2008 I’ve helped over 10,000+ students improve their piano skills. My primary goal as a teacher is to help you learn to play new songs quickly using the 7 essential elements of music.
My Story
Making Connection Through Music
When the world went into lockdown in 2020, like most people I found myself feeling isolated and disconnected. As an avid pianist, I knew that music had the power to bring people together, so I decided to start offering my piano lessons as online group lessons as a way to connect with others through the power of music-making.
But as I began to research ways to do this, I quickly realized that there were very limited opportunities for adults who wanted to learn to play the songs they loved in a social environment. Most of the available classes focused on classical music, which wasn't necessarily what I was looking for, or were designed with children in mind.
So, I decided to create my VIRTUOSO Piano Club, a group piano class that focuses on skill building while also incorporating popular songs and music from a variety of genres. My teaching style is all about making the learning process fun and engaging, while also helping my students develop the skills they need to play the music they love.
As I began to share my passion for music with others through my online piano lessons, I found that I was able to connect with people from all walks of life. Whether my students were seasoned musicians or complete beginners, we all shared a love of music and a desire to learn and grow together.
And even though the pandemic brought on many challenges, I'm so grateful to have found a way to bring people together through the magic of music-making on the piano.
